These fossil fish came out of the famous 18-inch level of the Green River formation near Kemmerer Wyoming. These 18-inch level fish are covered by matrix and must be carefully prepped out. But the spectacular results are worth the wait. These fish are darker than the fish from the Split fish level of the formation. The Priscacara Liops and Priscacara Serrata both measures 5 inches and top Diplomystus 17.5 inches and the bottom Diplomystus 19 inches.The matrix is 29.5 wide by 31 inches high and 1 inch thick.
